Haider, Rodney "Rod" A. (28 OCT 1961 - 9 MAR 2015)

Rodney "Rod" A. Haider, 53, Land O Lakes, died on Monday, March 9 at Eagle River Memorial Hospital emergency room where he was taken earlier by ambulance.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with Deacon Joseph Stefancin officiating. Interment will be at St. Ann's Cemetery in the town of Greenwood. Pallbearers are Zackary and Shannon Haider, Kasandra Wysocki, Steve Grit, Barry Moreno, David Shamberg, Kaelan Hyatt and Casey Torres.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 p.m. until the time of service.
Rodney Haider was born on Aug. 24, 1961 in Milwaukee to the late Ewald G. and Sandra R. (Sieminski) Haider.

He attended Clark Street Elementary School, and West Division and Shalom high schools, all in Milwaukee. He worked as an auto body man in Milwaukee, then in 1989 moved to Eagle River.

In 1995, he moved to Land O’ Lakes where he owned and operated Rodney's Auto Body. The past two years he worked for Haider's Auto & Truck Repair in Butler.

He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed fishing, hunting, classic cars, restoring antique boat motors, his dogs, and his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Survivors include his girlfriend of 29 years, Pat Torres of Land O’ Lakes; three stepdaughters, Shawn, Erin and Stephanie; a brother, Michael (Dawn) Haider of Colgate; a sister, Shawn Wysocki of Milwaukee; 11 step-grandchildren; two great-step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and aunts and uncles.
