Columbia (30 August 1973)

Ricardo Allen Thomas, son of Mrs. Dale Foemmel of Pine Valley, who has enlisted in the Navy, is now in training at Great Lakes, Il. Ricardo is a grand-nephew of Mrs. Wilson Bohnhoff.

Georgeana and William Schulz visited Mr. and Mrs. Lee Kapfer Tuesday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Leo Olson of Greenwood visited Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin last week Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sischo visited the Mashins Thursday evening and Mr. and Mrs. Al Mashin were visitors Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Endel returned Wednesday from Bear River, where they visited friends. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Winter and Roy Bielke of Pine Valley visited the Endels Wednesday evening.

Paul Behrens of Hebron, Il., spent several days in our area last week. He did some repair work on his farm in Columbia. He is the owner of the former Henry Schwedland property. Paul visited Mr. and Mrs. William Sollberger.

Larry Kolbrak of Eau Claire visited the Sollbergers Friday afternoon.
