Obermeier, Mary Ann (6 DEC 1969)

Miss Mary Ann Obermeier, 137 1/2 4th Av. N., Wis. Rapids, Wis., became the bride of Mr. Dick Fravert, 2600 N. 32nd, St., Wis. Rapids, on Saturday, Dec. 6, 1969. The wedding was held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Wis. Rapids. The ceremony was performed by Father Ruchi.

Parents of the bride are Mrs. Gen Dishinger, 930 Rosecrans, Wis. Rapids, and Mr. William Obermeier, 137 1/2 4th Av. N., Wis. Rapids.

The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fravert, 203 Mill St., Spencer, Wis.

The bride was given away by her father. She cose a white A-line gown of taffeta, with an empire waist, yoke of Venice lace, and a mandarin collar and shoulders of bishop sleeves. She wore a double crown with a three tier veil and a detachable chapel train. She carried a bouquet of red poinsettias.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Harold Smith of Marshfield, and bridesmaids were Miss Pat Degnitz, Marshfield, Miss Cheryl Obermeier, Wis. Rapids, and Mrs. Mike Radtke, Merrill, Wis.

The matron of honor and bridesmaids wore gowns of green and red velvet with empire waists, high collars, puffed sleeves. They each carried a white muff with a red poinsettia flower on it.

The groom's attendants were best man, Mr. Harold Smith, Marshfield, Mike Radtke, Merrill, Wis., Gordon Schirpke, Milwaukee, Wis., and DuWayne Fravert, Spencer.

The flower girl and ring bearer were Karl Gebert and Cathy Demski.

Miss Mary Skibba played the organ and the children's choir sang. The church was decorated with two poinsettia plants.

A reception and supper followed the ceremony. A dance was held at the Riverside Club in Wis. Rapids.

The groom is employed at Consolidated Papers, Inc. at Wis. Rapids.

The couple will make their home at 2800 N. 32nd St. in Wis. Rapids
