Symbal, Mr./Mrs. Alex Sr. (60th - 7 JAN 1968)

Mr. and Mrs. Alex Symbal Sr. observed their 60th wedding anniversary at their home on Sunday, Jan. 7th, 1968. The Symbals make their home together with their son, Alex Jr. and family, five miles northeast of Stanley.

A High Mass was offered for them at St. Mary's Czestochowa Catholic Church on Sunday morning. The couple was married in St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp, in 1908, and have lived in the area most of their married life.

Children of the couple include: Ed, Walter and Stanley of Chicago; Paul of Grayslake, Ill.; Alex Jr., Stanley; Bernice (Mrs. Joe Szczech), Thorp; Olga (Mrs. Stanley Urbas) Chippewa Falls, Wis.; Victoria (Mrs. Stanley Szymoniak), Chicago; Edna (Mrs. Alois Potaczek) is deceased.
