Lobacz, Georgia (6 JAN 1968)

Miss Georgia Marie Lobacz and Thomas John Misfeldt, both of Madison, the daughter and son of Mr. and Mrs. George Lobacz and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Misfeldt, all of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), were married at 12 o'clock noon Saturday, Jan. 6, 1968, by the Rev. Francis Brockman in St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thorp, with Mr. Lobacz giving his daughter in marriage.

The children's choir sang and Sister M. Arlene played the organ.

The bride wore a white delustered satin and lace A-line entrained bridal gown designed by herself and made by her mother. It featured elbow sleeves and long train trimmed with lace, and a pillbox headpiece of lace and sequins with elbow length veil. Yellow roses were in her bouquet.

Miss Sue Lobacz was maid of honor and Miss Lynn Herman, the bridesmaid. They wore dark green velvet and white crepe formals and matching green velvet bow headpieces with veils. Each held a green velvet muff with white carnations and green streamers.

Terry Misfeldt was best man and Walter Lobacz, the groomsman. Ushering were Bill Kowieski and Ray Lobacz.

Lunch was served after the wedding and a 6 o'clock supper for 200 guests took place, all at the American Legion Hall in Thorp. Miss Irene Schmidt, friend of the bride, cut the wedding cake.

The bride is a 1965 graduate of Thorp High School and is with the Internal Revenue as key punch operator. The groom is a 1964 graduate of Thorp High School and is presently a senior at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
