Anding, Beth Ellen (Marriage - 12 May 1973)

Miss Mary Ellen Anding became the bride of Leroy Leslie Ludovic Saturday Saturday, May 12, in a 2 p.m. ceremony preformed at Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, by the Rev. Roland Roehrs. A reception was held in the church hall. The bride, presented in marriage by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Anding of Rt. 1 Granton. The groom is the son of Mrs. P. C. Ludovic of Rt. 3 Neillsville, and the late Mr. Ludovic.

For her marriage, the former Miss Anding chose a white lace gown featuring a stand-up collar and raised waistline, the gathers of the dress flowing into a chapel train. Her veil was held by a bouffant, floral lace petalled headpiece. She carried a traditional cascade of pink carnations, white orchids and baby’s breath.

Miss Susan Dudei, Granton, was the maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Karen Hagen of Neillsville and Anna Anding of Granton. Their gowns of orchid floral-patterned polyester were accented by bouquets of white daisies.

Larry Marshall, Neillsville, served as bestman. Groomsmen were Dennis Braatz, Eau Claire, and Kurt Cook, Granton. Guests were seated by Mark Anding, Granton, and Nick Ludovic, Kent, Oh.

“O Perfect Love” and “Song of Ruth” were sung by Miss Susan Dudei accompanied by Mrs. Leland Garbisch.

The bride is a 1970 graduate of Granton High School. Her husband graduated from Neillsville High School in 1966 and from the Wisconsin Rapids Vocational-Technical Institute in 1967. He is employed in Neillsville. Following their return from an undisclosed wedding trip, they will make their home on Rt. 3 Neillsville.

Hostesses at bridal showers were Miss Susan Dudei and Mrs. Albert Hasz and Mrs. Otto Hasz.
