Foremost Blue Moon received the highest score of all cheese entered at the Milwaukee State Fair, winning the Governor's Sweepstakes award on their Blue Cheese entered by James Kern, scoring 98. This is the second time in the past three years that Blue Moon has won a sweepstakes on their Blue Cheese.

Other award winners were: White Ribbon to Lyle Christensen for Gorgonzola and Blue Ribbon to Louis Badzinski for Port du Salut.

Awards received at Northern Wisconsin fAir were: Blue Ribbon to James Kern for Blue Cheese, Red Ribbon to Lyle Christensen for Gorgonzola, Blue Ribbon to Lyle Christensen for Gold N Rich, Red Ribbon to Louis Badzinski for Port du Salut, Red Ribbon to Walter Koltis for Aged Cheddar and Red Ribbon to Clayton Flora for Colby Cheese.
