Fillo, Patricia J. (29 APR 1967)

Miss Patricia Joan Fillo became the bride of John Allan Nerdrum during a candlelight ceremony performed by Pastor Carl W. Peters Saturday evening in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Stanley.

Parents of the newlyweds are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fillo, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. Harley Nerdrum, Stanley.

For her vows, the bride selected a floor length gown of silk alpaca with empire waistline, bateau neckline and traditional long sleeves. A Chantilly lace Cathedral train enhanced the gown; her veil of illusion fell from a tiara. White roses and carnations composed the bridal bouquet.

Mrs. John Braddock, sister of the bride, from Phoenix, Ariz. Served as matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Mrs. George Morrison, Thorp. Flower girl was Darlene Arenson, nice of the bridegroom, from Stanley.

Harley Nerdrum Jr. acted as best man for his brother. Ushers were Dennis Nerdrum, brother of the bridegroom and Larry Fillo, brother of the bride. Jeffery Fillo, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Organist was Mrs. Ann Nafzger, accompanied by soloist Mrs. Alberta Peterson. Miss Bonnie Hendricks and Sandra Baures, friends of the bride, were the acolytes. Attending the guest book was Miss Betty Biddle, cousins of the bride.

A reception at the American Legion Hall, Thorp, honored the bridal couple prior to their departure on a honeymoon trip to Chicago.

The couple will reside at Mt. Clemens, Mich., where John is presently serving in the U.S. Air Force.
