The farmers have no kick coming this winter for not having snow enough, for they can run into a snow bank any old place, and a lot of cold weather with it.

Leona Abel and Alma Meinholdt called at school one day last week.

Gustave Meinholdt had a narrow escape last week. His bull thought he had no business in the barnyard, so he put him over the fence. There were no bones broken.

Mrs. Jo Ozanich spent Sunday with Mrs. Podobnik.

It was so cold last week that the smaller children could not go to school.

George Gemmeke and lyle Bostwick and Aug. Podobnik put up ice last week.

Little George Seliskar had the misfortune to cut his thumb off at the first joint while playing with a sharp axe.

Floyd Clintsman called on Lyle Bostwick Sunday.

Lyle Bostwick and August Podobnik took in the basketball game at greenwood Friday evening.

Carl Davey and father have been hauling gravel for Norton Borger the past few days.

Jason Bostwick has been working for Fred Halle the past week.

Lyle Bostwick and George Gemmeke called on Dd Keefe and Stryker Flagg last week.

Archie Cleveland and Alfred Gemmeke have been hauling millet from Mr. Coleman's place near Willard.

Taxes are the talk of the day. The farmers are wondering when they get their taxes paid how they are going to redeem their farms.

If the fellow that cleaned up the dive in Hutchinson, Minn. Was to come to Wisconsin, he would have to keep moving to visit all the moonshine dives.

Lily Martinson spent Sunday with Jennie Merlak.

Gertrude Davey spent the weekend with Edna Hembre at Schilling.

Jennie Podobnik spent Sunday afternoon with Alma Meinholdt.
