Miller, Ed. (Fire – 23 Oct 1916)
Monday morning the straw stack at Ed. Miller’s farms south of town caught fire
and it was thought for a time that it would spread to the big barn. However,
about a hundred neighbors and men from town went out and fought the fire the
better part of the morning and finally succeeded in confining the blaze to the
straw stack.
