Greenwood (18 January 1973)

Members of the Intersee club met Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Joe Gregorich.

The Birthday Club was entertained Monday evening by Mrs. Palmer Vinger with a 6:30 dinner at the café, followed by cards at the Vinger home. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Glen Drew, Mrs. Lawrence Cox, Mrs. Don Warmer and Mrs. Marcia Palms.

Mrs. Eugene Antrim was dismissed Saturday from the hospital in Marshfield.

Installation of officers of the various organizations will be held at 10:45 a.m. Sunday in the Immanuel United Church of Christ. The annual meeting of the congregations will be held at 1 p.m.

The Oakland Homemakers met Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Joseph Strojny. Mrs. Elmer Kuester gave the lesson on Civil Defense. Miss Melanie Karpinski was welcomed as a new member. The next meeting will be held February 14 at the home of Mrs. Kathern Lato. The lesson on ‘the right to be heard’ will be given by Mrs. James Schmitz and Mrs. Stanley Lobacz.

The Jolly Homemakers were entertained Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Clayton Braun. New officers are Mrs. Vern Henaman, president; Mrs. Jerald Richmond, vice president; Mrs. Darrel Horn, secretary; Mrs. Herbert Horn, secretary and treasurer. Plans were made for the New Year. There are two new members, Mrs. James Sizer and Mrs. Richard Drew. The next meeting will be Tuesday evening, February 13, at the home of Mrs. Dennis Fleischmann.

Mrs. Helen Behrens spent the weekend in Eau Claire at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. William Yaeger.
