H. Warner and family are moving into rooms in the Haglund building.

Mrs. Louise Runkel left for Reeseville, Wis. Yesterday, where she will visit relatives and friends for several weeks.

The Ladies of St. Ann Society will serve dinner in the Catholic Church basement Decoration Day, Monday , May 30th. All are welcome.

Erastus Bowen is visiting relatives and friends and Chicago and Columbus, Wis. He will return the latter part of the week.

Mrs. Paul Borham returned from the hospital at Chippewa Falls Saturday, where she recently underwent an operation for appendicitis. Mrs. Borham's health is greatly improved.

August Kippenhan left for Indianapolis, Ind. Tuesday, where he went to attend the funeral of his nephew, Henry Arnholter.

Editor Barager of the Owen Enterprise was a pleasant caller at the Gleaner office Tuesday while on his way home from Neillsville.

Rev. Aaberg was at Marshfield over Sunday.

The Ladies Aid of Braun Settlement will meet on Thursday, June 2 with Mrs. Robert Horn in Greenwood. Everybody is welcome.

Mrs. George Johnson and children of Marshfield were over Sunday visitors with relatives and friends in this city.

Orson P. Cochran, piano tuner, is here now. Orders can be left at Greenwood house or Marden's store.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Speich, Miss Rose Speich and Chas. Ludwig autoed to Pittsville Sunday, where they spent the day with relatives and friends.

Joe Merkel and family and Mrs. H. Warner spent Sunday in Marshfield.

Don't forget the big barn dance at Albert Fravert's Saturday evening, June 1st. Music by the Loyal Orchestra. Everybody come and have a good time.

The Equity will hold their regular meeting at Volk's Hall Saturday evening at 8 o'clock. Important matters will be discussed, so all members are requested to be present (Albert Peterson, Secretary)

W. Marden, who recently purchased the Peterson building, is having it painted and improving it otherwise.

Remember the big ball game Monday, Owen vs. Greenwood.

The Kings Daughters will meet with Mrs. A. J. Currie Wednesday, June 1st.

Mrs. P.W. Gullord attended the funeral of Mrs. Augusta Kuethe at Marshfield last Thursday..

Paul R. Rossman and family are moving their household goods to Wausau this week, where they will make their future home.

Rev. O.W. Schreiber is attending a reunion of former college students in Illinois. Mrs. Schreiber and children are visiting relatives at Cascade during his absence.

C.A. Olson sold his Hudson super six speedster to Paul Rossman this week. Ole has driven the car many thousands of miles, but says there is no better car on the road today. C.A. and L.O. Clute recently broke the speed record between Milwaukee and Greenwood with the car making the trip in 9 hours and 15 minutes. Many detours were made and they also stopped at Stevens Point for supper.
