Funeral services for Floyd D. Potts, 80, of Neillsville, who died December 24, were to be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home and Friday from the Peffers-Halverson Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, Ia. Burial was to be made in the Windslow Cemetery at Belle Plaine. The Rev. Melvin Nickel of the United Methodist Church was to officiate at services here. At Belle Plaine, the Rev. Mr. Potts, the son of George and Catherine (Randolph) Potts, was born March 12, 1892, in Tama, Ia., and was educated there, graduating from Tama High School. His marriage to the former Lela Rote took place February 19, 1914, in Belle Plaine. The couple farmed at Belle-Plaine and Thomson, Iowa, before moving to a farm in the Town of Eaton in 1920.
