Palmer Vinger was at Baraboo last Thursday on a farm deal.

Walter Digoski returned Sunday from a few days visit at Chicago.

Mrs. Hazel Brown and Mrs. Laverne Brown were Marshfield callers Saturday.

Mrs. Bert Wilcox left Saturday for Rochester, Minn. To spend the winter with a niece.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Quast and son Allen spent the weekend with relatives in Milwaukee.

Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Humke were Marshfield callers Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Vinger spent Sunday at the Gus Anderson home at Athens.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox and Nancy and Mrs. Minnie Cox spent Sunday at the Jessie Offord home at Thorp.

Mrs. Minnie Cox and Mrs. Lawrence Cox were Neillsville callers Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kavanagh were Marshfield callers Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Horn were Marshfield callers Saturday.

Allan Wuethrich was a caller at Rice Lake Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Strozewski of Millston visited Monday at the home of Mrs. May Westcott.

Miss Florence Williams left Friday for Chicago and will accompany a patient to California for the witner.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Vollrath spent Saturday evening at the Jake Speich home.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Salbo of Christie spent Sunday afternoon at the Roy Rossman home.

Mrs. Myrle Hales and daughter Mary Jo of Loyal spent Thursday at the George Haeuser home.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kowieski and Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Kessler spent Sunday evening at the Harlan Brux home.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ramin returned last week Wednesday, after spending a few days in Minneapolis on business.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Laabs, who have been residing at Stanley, are moving to Milwaukee, where Mr. Laabs is employed.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Reineking and daughter Gail, and Mr. and Mrs. Greg Rogillio spent last Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Atcherson at Unity.

Mr. and Mrs. Austin Mlada of Madison and Miss Margaret Mlada of Lodi spent the weekend here with relatives.

Mrs. John Wuethrich, Mrs. Allan Wuethrich, Linda and Sammp spent Wednesday of last week at the W.G. Harlson home in Neillsville. Linda remained there until Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Ellingson and son Romaine were at Mondovi Saturday, where they attended the funeral of Theo Anderson and visited relatives at Strum.

Otto Voie had the misfortune to break his left arm above the wrist on Wednesday, Nov. 29, when a heifer kicked him at the Dennis Larson farm, the former Bert Brown farm on Highway 98.

Mark Chadwick, who has been a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital., Marshfield, for the past three weeks, returned home Sunday.

The Hemlock Ladies Aid will meet at the home of Mrs. John Longridge Wednesday, Dec. 13th, with Mrs. Roy Rossman assisting. This will be the Christmas party with the usual exchange of gifts.

The Gleaner is in receipt of a car from Mrs. A.H. Noetzel, saying she was leaving McIntosh, S.D., where she has been visiting her son-in-law and daughter, Mrs. And Mrs. Walter Lawein, for Coral Gables, Florida on Friday to spend the winter with her son Grover.

Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Baird received word Sunday that their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Engle, who were coming from Camp McCoy, where he is stationed, to spend Sunday here, had their car sideswiped by a big semi near Black River Falls. The Engle's escaped with bruises, but their car was demolished. Mrs. Engle will be remembered as Virginia Baird.

Mrs. May Westcott, who has been at the hsoptial at Black River Falls, where she underwent an operation, and with a nice for the past three months, returned home on Monday very much improved in health.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Haeuser were Medford callers Sunday.

Mrs. Caroline Seidl, Marshfield, District Deputy of the Royal Neighbors, spent Monday in Greenwood and attended the meeting Monday evening.

Pfc. Arthur Peterson, who is stationed at Camp McCoy, spent Saturday and Sunday with his wife and parents in Owen.
