Rev. M.K. Aaberg retired on Jan. 1, 1948 after 40 1/2 years of service to the
ministry.
In June 1901 Rev. Aaberg was ordained at Minneapolis and his first parish was at
Madison, S.D., where remained for 8 years, then going to Sioux City, Iowa. He
then went to Glenwood City, Wis., where eh served six congregations for nine
years.
Rev. Aaberg came to Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1919 and served six
congregations for 13 years, namely United Lutheran Congregation in Greenwood,
Trondheim Congregation, Longwood, Neillsville and the Slider and Auburndale
Congregations in Marshfield. He served the United Lutheran and Longwood
Congregations for 17 years, and Trondheim for 20 years. It was from Trondheim
Congregation which he retired on Jan. 1.
