Funeral services for Edward Johnson, 80, of route 1, Colby, who died Monday, Oct. 10, at Memorial Hospital, Superior, Wis., will be held Thursday.  Mr. Johnson was hospitalized there about three weeks.

The body will lie in state at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford, until 2 p.m. today when the Rev. Robert Sutherland will conduct the services.  Interment will be made in Trinity Lutheran cemetery, Unity.

A memorial service for relatives and friends was held at the Polnaszek Funeral Home Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Edward Johnson was born at Unity August 21, 1886.  He farmed at a homestead in the Unity area and lived there all his life.  He never married.

Surviving him are three brothers; John, Alfred and Adolph, all of Unity, and one sister, Mrs. Henry (Edith) Hagen of Superior,

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers and one sister.
