Bucheger-Volovsek, Judith A. (6 SEP 1963 – 17 JUL 2014)
Judith A. Bucheger-Volovsek, 50, Willard, passed away on Thursday, July 17,
2014, at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital, in Marshfield, surrounded by her
family after battling cancer. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday,
July 22, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. Pallbearers were her 12
grandchildren, Alexander Volovsek, Tyler Volovsek, Katie Volovsek, Megan Secraw,
Jena Secraw, Zachary Secraw, Anna Secraw, Emma Volovsek, Molly Volovsek, Mason
Stieglitz, Madison Stieglitz, and Allison Stieglitz.
Judy was born on Sept. 6, 1963, in Ashland, to Lawrence and Connie (nee Schweikl)
Bucheger. She attended Glidden Elementary School and Glidden High School. Judy
graduated from the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College with an associate
degree in hospitality management. Judy had many interests including history,
geology, reading, antiques, sewing, camper restoration, finding great deals at
garage sales and auctions, and spending time with her friends and family, but
most of all she loved helping everyone else with their interests.
Judy is survived by her husband, Ronald Volovsek; her children, Erin (Trevor)
Farley, Lynsey Volovsek, Kyra (Douglas) Secraw, Lee (Kristen) Volovsek, Dean
(Rebecca) Volovsek, and Danae (Nicholas) Stieglitz; 12 grandchildren; her
mother, Connie Robokoff; her mother-in-law, Virginia Volovsek; her siblings, Jan
(Lee) Jackson, Roger (Deborah) Bucheger, Victor (Terri) Bucheger, and Bertram
(Mary) Bucheger; and numerous nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Bucheger; her step-father,
Ernie Robokoff; and her father-in-law, Alphonse Volovsek.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Judy's name to
your local Relay for Life or to Hope Lodge in Marshfield.
Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, assisted the family with arrangements.
