Pleasant Ridge (21 Sep 1916)

Milo Brown and wife spent Sunday in Neillsville with her mother.

Richard Selves came home Sunday.

Mrs. Sarah Selves and Mrs. Blackman spent last Wednesday with Grandma Counsell at Jim Hughes.

Myra Jahr left for Campaign, Ill., to spend the school year with her brother Marvin.

Verne Howard is working for Arlo Huckstead.

Mrs. Blackman went to Augusta Tuesday to spend the balance of the week with friends there.

Mrs. George Vine and two sons were at Crandon with relatives this week.

Little Ruth Slocomb had a birthday party last Friday after school.

Richard Selves spent some time at Fond du Lac with his sister Kate, who is in the hospital there. She is getting along as well as can be expected.

Ira Slocomb was home last week and went to Madison Monday for the school year.
