"I'm going to cry a lot." No, not really, but that is what Joann Helen Pajak likes to say along with "beauteous," "Terrific" and anything else she happens to pick up. "Feeling Groovy", also "I think We're Alone Now," "Dedicated to the one I Love," "This is My Song" and "Carousel" are among Joanne's favorite songs.
This seventeen year old, petite girl call Jo Jo, entered the world on April 20, 1949. With the color of eys green, Jo Jo hails green as her favorite color. Light brown hair completes the picture.
Jo Jo's Polish ancestry is brought out in one of her favorite foods, polish sausage. She also enjoys Italian spaghetti, Fresca and orange juice.
Eve though Joe Jo is only five feet, three inches, she has a lot of get up and go. Jo Jo has been in G.A.A. and F.H.A. for three years, participated in intramurals for two years, the senior class play production and junior class play make-up committee. In her spare time, Jo Jo prefers dancing at Mile-A-Way, sewing and collecting souvenirs for her junk box.
People who don't appreciate what they get bother Jo Jo to no end. Also in this category are rock and roll bands that don't play the songs right and people who think they're all it.
After high school, Jo Jo plans to go to Evanston Business College and then get a job as a secretary. Underclassmen heed this bit of wisdom: "Don't ruin you reputation. It could affect your whole life."
