Koperski, Katherine (1882 - 6 MAR 1967)
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Katherine Koperski, 84, on March 9th, who passed away March 6th, 1967. Rev. Edward Masalewicz officiated at the ten a.m. service at St. Hedwig's Chapel. Burial was in St. Hedwig's Cemetery.
Pallbearers were five grandsons: Clifford Koperski, Donald Koperski from Chicago, Dave, Dennis and Marvin Paczkowski from Withee, and a neighbor's son, Thomas Osowski.
Miss Katherine Kreyski was born in Poland in 1882 and arrived in the United States at an early age. She was united in marriage to John Koperski in West Moreland City, Pa. In 1912 they moved to a farm in the town of Hixon (Clark Co., Wis.), where she resided until her death.
She is survived by her husband John and thirteen children, Walter of Junction City, Joe from Jacksonville, Fla., Julius of Park Forest, Ill., Ralph, Casmere, and Eddie of Thorp; Mrs. Ted (LaVerne) Clark of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Helen Luce of Owen, Mrs. Leon (Viola) Patch and Mrs. Lester (Valery) Koplitz of Chicago, and triplet daughters, Mrs. Ed (Victoria) Paczkowski of Withee, Mrs. Chester (Marie) Kowalczyk of Chicago, Mrs. Frank (Katherine) Koltis of Coloma, Calif., 25 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Persons attending the funeral were from California, Florida, Ill., and numerous locations in Wisconsin.
