Miss Judy King and Gary Schaffer were married Saturday, March 19, at 11:30 a.m. in the St. Mary of the Lake Catholic church, Minneapolis, Minn. The Rev. Anthony Lewis performed the nuptial mass.
Judy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell King, Minneapolis, and Gary is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Schaffer, Colby.
Miss Laurie King was maid of honor and Ronald Runge served as best man. Other attendants to the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hanson.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white lace over taffeta street length formal with a full skirt and her shoulder length veil was held in place by a pearl crown headpiece. She carried a bouquet of red roses with white ribbon streamers. The bridesmaids were seen in aqua colored street length taffeta gowns with aqua headpieces and short bouffant veils. They carried yellow chrysanthemums.
Following the nuptial ceremony, a reception was held at the Medicine Lake village hall in Minneapolis.
bride is assistant head nurse at St. Mary’s hospital, Milwaukee and the groom is
employed with Drumel Construction Co., Milwaukee. They are at home at 2206 S.
90th St., West Allis.
