Emil Lindow has sharpened his broad ax and made other preparations for the oncoming Mexican conflict.  He also states that the frogs this spring have got scales like a fish.  That goes to prove the country will meet with severe weather conditions until the dispute over the border is settled.

L.A. Kleinschmidt was a Neillsville caller Tuesday.

Miss Leona Kleinschmidt who is teaching school near Greenwood spent Sunday at home.
