Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sternitzky came home from Oshkosh last Fri.

Alvin Cole went to Grand Rapids Monday.

Guy Youmans was here on business Monday.

F. E. Gotter transacted business at the county seat, Tuesday.

Mrs. Minnie Kurth returned from her visit at Marshfield, Monday.

Geo. Hart was at Chili on business Monday.

Arthur Wagner and Carl Krause transacted business at the county seat Saturday.

Gus. Hahm of Lindsey spent the first of the week with his family at Louis Planel’s.

Mrs. Norman Pearce of Duluth is here since Monday on a ten days visit at the T.D. Wage home.

Miss Mae Phillips of Neillsville spent the week end here with Mrs. M.V. Ayers.

Franklin Lockbraum of Hewett was a guest in the Geo. Huntley home here the first of the week.

Phillip Knickle of Spencer visited several days of last week here with his son, Elmer.

Vernon Wright came down from Duluth Saturday for a week’s visit with his mother and other relatives.

August Krieger of Shawano came last Saturday to visit at rob Petznick’s in Heathville.

Miss Alva Thayer entertained a company of 18 young people at a chain side walk party last Friday evening and furthered the fund by $1.80.

Mrs. Robert Machel is at Stevens Point since Tuesday in response to news of her little brother Lawrence Wallace’s illness.

Mr. and Mrs. August Snyder and their daughter Miss Elsie of Neillsville visited town friends here last Friday.

Rev. Martin Haaz went to Fairchild Monday.

Elmer Knickle bought a driving team of Guy Youmans Monday.

Geo. Nichols was a Marshfield Saturday.

Dan Brooks of Chili was in town Tuesday.

Alvin Reichert mad a business trip to Marshfield Tuesday.

L.J. Stevens of Heathville went to New Lisbon Tuesday on account of the illness of his father.

Miss Frieda Garbush is spending the week with Mrs. Gurgle at Neillsville.

Mrs. W.L. Pierce of Neillsville spent Tuesday morning here with town friends.

Miss Ruby Martin of Lynn is sewing for town friends here since Monday.

Mrs. M.V. Ayers and son Bert vacated their farm, the Otto Garbush place this week and moved back into their home at Neillsville

Miss Margareth Thiede is coming home from Woldsville, Ohio to teach the German Lutheran School, Pine Valley this spring.  She is expected yet this week.

Miss Eva Gullick of Dodgeville, Wis., coming home from Aberdeen S. Dak., stopped off here Monday for a few days visit with her brother Bert and his wife.

Will Rhead and family of Alma Center are here and in their new home on Mrs. M.V. Ayers farm since Wednesday.

Louis Scholtz of Beloit was in town on missionary work several days of last week.

Mrs. Wm. Schuler and children of Spencer after a several days visit with the Herman Schuler family went home on Tuesday.

Mrs. Zimmerbee and little son who were here from Bloom City visiting at Grant Snyder’s departed on the home trip Monday.

Mrs. H.E. Williams was called to Neillsville Friday by the serious illness of her mother Mrs. Brown.

Miss Lulu Furgeson departed for Mildred, Montana, on an extended visit to her aunt. A Mrs. Marshall.

Mrs. Lindenehaler of fall Creek is here visiting her daughter Mrs. Ben Joern, since Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wetterau and baby returned home from their Sheboygan county visit Monday.

Alfred Porath left for Rochester Minn., where he has employment on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Dave Garbush, C. Schuelke, Delos and Free Raymond, Mrs. Hale Davis, and Mrs. Rice Davis were among the Granton folk at Neillsville Monday.

H.E. Williams had the misfortune to lose one of his best mares last week.

Mrs. R.C. Norman of Lynn took Saturday morning’s train here for the Atlantic coast where she goes to join her husband who is in New York State.

Rev. J. Reiff of this place with Rev. Kemena of Loyal and Rev. Viergutz of Nasonville went to Green Bay Monday to attend a church conference.

Miss Frances Brooks went to Eau Claire Friday evening and made an over Sunday stay with her mother who is in the Sacred Heart Hospital in that city.

Geo. Brooks came home fro Eau Claire last Friday but returned again on Sunday.  He reports Mrs. Brooks is slowly though surely gaining.
