Maslowski, Elizabeth (16 JUN 1865 - 16 NOV 1966)
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig's Chapel on Saturday, Nov. 19 for Mrs. Elizabeth Maslowski, who died on Nov. 16, 1966 at Stanley Memorial Hospital. Rev. Edward Masalewicz officiated at the 10:00 a.m. services. Burial took place at St. Hedwig's Cemetery. The pallbearers, all of whom are grandsons, were Lawrence Maslowski, Edward J. Maslowski; Malen Warczytowa, Edward L. Maslowski, Donald Feist and Frank Feist.
Elizabeth Walczak was born in Poland on June 16, 1865 and came to America in 1884. She resided in St. Paul., Minn., where she was united in marriage to Simon Maslowski on Sept. 19, 1887. In 1892 they moved to a farm in the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area. Mrs. Maslowski was preceded in death by her husband, on Feb. 7, 1930. Of this union, twelve children were born, six of whom are still living. They are Peter of Fresno, Calif.; Michael of Twin Lakes, Wis.; John and Anton of thorp; Mrs. Stanley (Mary) Zmyslony of Thorp and Mrs. Edmund (Anna) Feist of Chicago, Ill. Also surviving are thirty-two grandchildren, fifty-eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Relatives attending the funeral came from Marshfield, Wausau, Ashland, Milwaukee, St. Paul, Minn. And Chicago, Ill.
