Weyker, Alois (1893 - 23 JAN 1950)

Funeral services were held Thursday in St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Milwaukee for Alois Weyker, 56, Milwaukee, after a brief illness. Burial followed in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at Port Washington.

A native of Port Washington, he was born there in 1893, the son of Mr. and Mrs. N.J. Weyker. He was married here to Miss Irene Walters, who survives. He operated a dry goods store here at Scott and Second Streets before leaving the city about 20 years ago. The past 18 years he has operated a grocery store and meat market in Milwaukee.

Surviving, besides the widow, are a daughter, Miss Elaine Weyker, and two sons, Richard and John Weyker, all at home; his father, who resides at Dousman; three brothers, Edward Weyker, Dousman; Clem Weyker of Chicago, and Lawrence Weyker, Boston, Mass., and a sister, Mrs. Larry Engelhart, La Crosse.

Mrs. Margaret Walters, the mother of Mrs. Weyker, and Gordon Walters, both of this city (Greenwood, Clark Co., Wis.), and Mrs. Harold Walters, Mosinee, attended the funeral.
