Boechman, Kathryn F. (10 OCT 1940)

Miss Kathryn F. Boechman, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. F.A. Boechman of 204 N. Walnut Street and Harold P. Dickoff, Stevens Point, formerly of Marshfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.J. Dickoff, 900 S. Cedar Street were married Thursday morning October 10, 1940 during a 9 o’clock nuptial mass at St. John’s Catholic Church by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. A.J. Dorrenbach, pastor.

The bride was attired in a wool costume suit of moss green with beaver trim.  Her accessories were black and she carried a bouquet of roses and chrysanthemums.

Miss Lucille Dickoff, Minneapolis, Minn. sister of the groom, attended as maid of honor wearing a dress of teal blue and a black fur jacket.  Chrysanthemums made up her bouquet and her accessories were also black.  Neil Resheske, Princeton, cousin of the bride, served as best man.

Dinner was served at noon at the Hotel Charles to approximately 25 immediate relatives and friends.

Mrs. Dickoff was graduated from Marshfield High School with the class of 1934.  She attended the College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, Minn. and Marquette University, Milwaukee, where she was enrolled in the College of Journalism.  She was formerly employed as society editor of the News-Herald.

The groom, who was graduated from Marshfield High School in 1933, received his degree from Marquette University in 1938 upon completion of a 5 year course in the College of Engineering.  He is affiliated with Sigma Phi Delta, international professional engineering fraternity, and at present is employed as safety engineer with the Hardware Mutual Causality Company, Stevens Point.

Mr. and Mrs. Dickoff left on a trip early this afternoon.  After Sunday they will be at home to friends at 623 Strongs Avenue, Stevens Point.
