Mrs. Jake Speich received word of the birth of a new great-grandson. The baby, named Quinn Owen was born January 19 to Mr. and Mrs. Brian Speich of Milford, Ks. He joins a brother, Anthony.

Mrs. Sylvester Hinker and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Plunkett visited Sylvester Hinker Monday at the hospital in Marshfield, where he has been a patient since January 24.

Friends were entertained Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Kaltinger in honor of the 87th birthday of his mother, Mrs. John Kaltinger, Sr.

Harvey Sischo, who was called here by the death of his mother, Ruth Sischo, returned to Sheboygan Monday after spending a week here.

Mr. and Mrs, Kurt Zocher of Westchester, Il, spent the weekend at their home here.

Joseph Plunkett, Ellsworth Plunkett and Miss Alice Plunkett of Tomah visited recently at the home of their brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Harry Plunkett.

The birthday of Norbert and Norman Friske, twins, was celebrated Sunday at the Norbert Friske home. Those present from out-of-town were Mr. and Mrs. Burt Wells and family and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Friske and daughter Faye, from Whitehall.

Mrs. Lydia Liebzeit arrived Saturday from Appleton to spend a week with Mrs. Clara Liebzeit and other relatives in the area.

Bruce Liebzeit has been dismissed from the Veterans hospital in Madison where he was a surgical patient.

Mrs. Elvera Fravert was installed as historian and Mrs. Clayton Braun and Alvin Albert on the cemetery board by the Rev. Pacifico Camarin during the Sunday morning worship service at Immanuel United Church. Several selections were sung by the Clark County Men’s Chorus.

Guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Moseley were he parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Moseley of Hixton and Mrs. Carrie Toxen of Taylor.

Mrs. Gust Horn has returned after spending a month with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Horn of Wausau and Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Stanke of Prairie du Sac.

Hugh Severson spent Wednesday and Thursday in Madison. He took Chris Johnson to the Veterans’ Hospital.

Allen Hodnett of Madison spent the weekend here with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Kuehn, and with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hodnett, at Withee.

Mrs. Harold Dillenbeck and Mrs. Delmain Toburen visited Sunday at the Marshfield hospital with their daughter and sister, Mrs. Ronald Henschen, and new baby.
