Schuelke, Ottilla (22 Nov 1882 – 18 Nov 1967)
Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Ottilla Schuelke, 84, on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 21, at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ronald Roehrs officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Donald Ebert, Larry Ebert, Duane Ebert, Roland Garbisch, Fredrick Garbisch, Jr. and Clarence Schuelke Jr.
Miss Janet Garbisch and Miss Eileen Garbisch accompanied by
M<rs. Leland Garbisch sang “The Lord’s My Shephard’ and Asleep in Jesus.”
Mrs. Schuelke passed away at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville, onNovember 18 after surgery on her hip suffered in a fall recently.
The former Rose Kauffman was born November 22, 1882, in Clark County and had lived in this area most of her life. Her marriage to Henry Schuelke, who preceded her in death took place October 27, 1909 at Zion Lutheran Church at Granton.
Survivors are three sons, Harold, Chicago, Illinois; Clarence, Two Rivers; five daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Esther) Ebert, Black River Falls; Mrs. Frederick (Helen) Garbisch, Granton; Mrs. Frank (Ruth) LaDuca, Buffalo, New York; Mrs. Gust (Doris) Hagen, Globe, and Mrs. Daniel (Ella) McCormack, Milwaukee; 25 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1965, two brothers and two sisters.
