Westrich, Enola Rose (Meyer) (28 OCT 1931 - 12 FEB 2014)
Enola Rose Westrich, 82, Medford, died on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at Kennedy Park
Nursing and Rehab Center in Schofield, where she had resided the past month.
Graveside services were held on Friday, Feb. 14 at Perkinstown Community Center
in Perkinstown, with Don King officiating. Pallbearers were Gary Westrich, Gary
Westrich Jr., Russell Westrich, Mark Anderson, Jon Rothmeier, Jerry Neubauer,
and Jim Neubauer.
Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with
arrangements.
The former Enola Meyer was born on October 17, 1931 in Perkinstown to the late
William Ernest and Ruby Alberta (Redwine) Meyer. She attended Roosevelt School
in Perkinstown.
On October 23, 1948 at Perkinstown Community Church in Perkinstown, she married
Donald H. Westrich, and they later divorced. They lived on a hobby farm and she
was a homemaker. She was employed at Zastrow Care Center in Gilman in the 1980s
and at Hurd Millwork in Medford during the 1990s. She lived most of her life in
Perkinstown, except her married years she lived in the Medford area.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, crocheting, crosswords, her kitties,
and chocolate, and in her younger years camping and fishing.
Survivors include seven children, Linda (Jim Heine) Westrich of Brooksville FL,
Gary (Patty) Westrich and Kim (Beth) Westrich, both of Medford, Jeanette (John)
Vogt of Tomahawk, Julie (Robin) Hartzell of Cadott; Carol (Mark) Anderson of
Weston, Jason Westrich of Wausau, and Russell (Sherri Wright) Westrich of Jump
River; six siblings, Raymond "Bud" Meyer and Shirley Meyer, both of Medford,
Irma Howsden of Owen, Esther (Gerald "Jerry") Clarkson of Woodruff, and Donald
(Lana) Meyer and Lester (Mary) Meyer, both of Holcombe; 18 grandchildren; and 17
great-grandchildren.
