Pietenpol, Frederick (09 May, 1900 – ? July 1967)

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Granton Methodist Church for Frederick Pietenpol, a former resident of Granton. The Rev. William Dushek, pastor of the Neillsville and Granton congregation officiated. Burial was made in the Windfall cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robert Procknow, Lowell Trewartha, David Pietenpol, Richard Tibbett, Ted Downer and Roland Quicker.

Organ selections were played by Keith Gardner.

Mr. Pietenpol was born May 9, 1900, at Granton and received his education here and at the Neillsville high school.

His marriage took place October 5, 1929 at Winona, Minnesota. They had lived in Milwaukee the past 22 years.

In addition to his wife, survivors are a son Major John Pietenpol with the U. S. Air Force in Gemany; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Carmen) Wojnarowicz and Mrs. James (Yvonne) eitz both of Milwaukee; a brother, Bernard, Granton; three sisters, Miss Ruth Pietenpol, Granton; Mrs. Harold (Marjorie) Trewartha, Neillsville; and Mrs. Luther (Josephine) Johnson, Ironwood, Michigan and ten grandchildren.
