Stucki, Anna Marie (30 Aug 1916)

Yesterday afternoon the marriage of Rev. David Grether and Miss Anna Marie Stucki was solemnized at the home of the bride’s parents near Black River Falls, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Stucki, the bride’s father. Rev. Grether and his bride left that evening for a wedding trip of six weeks duration. They will go to Loveland, Colorado, the groom’s former home, stopping off at different points on the way, and will return here to make their home. The groom is the pastor of the German Reformed Church, having come here a little over a year ago to accept the pastorate. During that time he has done excellent work here and commands the highest respect of his congregation and citizens of the city. He is a young man of high ideals and genial disposition and will make a high mark in his chosen field of endeavor. His bride is a dAughter of Rev. and Mrs. Jacob Stucki, Rev. Stucki having charge of the Indian Mission Church northwest of Black River Falls. She is a young lady of high attainments and pleasing demeanor and during her visits here has impressed all who met her with her splendid qualities. The best wishes of all the friends of Rev. and Mrs. Grether are cordially extended to them.
