Braatz, Clarence R. (1 March 1913 - 10 November 1971)

Funeral services for Clarence R. Braatz, 58, of Memorial Home, who died November 10, were held Saturday, November 13, At 2 p.m. from Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant. The Rev. Richard Eggen officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery. The Georgas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Clarence Braatz, the son of Carl and Louise (Junchen) Bratz, was born March 1, 1913, in the Town of Grant, where he received his elementary education. He attended Neillsville High School and worked on road construction and farmed before his retiring five years ago. A member of Zion American Lutheran Church, Mr. Braatz was a resident of Memorial Home for the last three years.

Survivors include two brothers, Norman Braatz of Granton and Robert Braatz of Beaver Dam.

Pallbearers were Leonard, Erwin and Victory Braatz, Lawrence and Harold Junchen and Ray Kurth. Soloist Sue Dudei was accompanied by Peg Blaskowski.

Those who attended the services from out of town came from: Beaver Dam, Appleton, Racine, Menasha, Milwaukee, Eau Claire, Plainfield, Stevens Point, Marshfield, Loyal, Merrillan, Spencer, Marinette, and Sherrard, Il. and St. Paul and Minneapolis, Mn.
