On Wednesday, June 3, 1953, Miss Helen Ann Lindner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Math Lindner, R. 2, Loyal, became the bride of Richard John Esselman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Esselman, also of R. 2, Loyal. The Rev. Father Edward Hartung officiated at the 8:30 a.m. Nuptial Mass in St. Mary's Catholic Chapel, Greenwood.

The bride was attired in a gown of white nylon lace over satin, extending into a long train and featuring a tiny Peter Pan Collar and lace sleeves. Her fingertip veil extended from a tiara of pearls and rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations.

Miss Loretta Lindner, who served as her sister's maid of honor, was attired in an orchid lace over taffeta formal with a double net skirt.

Mrs. Fred Budzeiz, Chicago, another sister of the bride, and Mars. Mary Ann Bliesener, sister of the groom, wore formals of Nile green and yellow, respectively. Both dresses were made like the matron of honor's. All three attendants had matching gauntlets and net hats and carried cascade bouquets of white and tinted carnations.

Alan Meyer, a cousin of the groom, served as best man. Fred Budzeiz, brother-in-law of the bride, and James Lindner, her brother, were groomsmen.

Dinner and supper were served to 150 guests at the parish hall and a reception was held in the afternoon at the home of the bride's parents. In the evening a dance was held at the Silver Dome Ballroom.

The bride attended St. Mary's Parochial School and was graduated from the Greenwood High School. The groom attended St. Anthony's Catholic School is a a graduate of Loyal High School.

Out of town relatives and friends at the wedding were from Chicago, Milwaukee, Hales Corners, Athens, Wis. Rapids, Ashland, Chippewa Falls, Hubertus, Neillsville, Dorchester, Greenwood, Granton, Wauwatosa and Loyal.
