Otto V. Weyhmiller, 80,
Loyal died at 6:15 a.m. Thursday, May 18, at th home of his son, Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth Weyhmiller, Schofield; where he had been visiting. Death was due to a
stroke.
Services were held at the Myre Funeral Home on Saturday, May 20.
The Rev. Norbert E. King officiated and burial was made in the Loyal cemetery.
Mr. Weyhmiller was born March 26, 1887 in the town of Sherman. Match 25,
1914 he married Mabel Anderson in Loyal.
He liver in the Loyal area all
his life and worked as a cement contractor until 1921. Then took the post of
Clark County Highway Commishhioner in 1944. Returned office in 1949 and held
that job until his retirement in 1963.
Pallbearers were Harold Tucker,
Frank Degenhardt, Raymond Neuman, Cullen Ayer, George Zuehlke, Sr. andLothar
Oestreich.
He is survived by 2 sons, Maurice, Berkley, California; and
Kenneth, Schofield; one daughter, Mrs. Harriet Krier, Minneapolis, Minnesota; 15
grandchildren and 3 sisters, Mrs. Emma Lipke, Menlata, Illinois; Mrs. Clyde
(Esther) Hudson, Santa Rosa, California; Mrs. Della Kopka, Alemeda, California.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, 1 brother, and his wife.
