Sonderegger, Laura Jane (20 December 1917 - 13 July 1971)

Mrs. Clarence Sonderegger, 53, of Marshfield died July 13, at the Norwood Hospital there, where she had been a patient for the last nine years. Mrs. Sonderegger, the former Laura Jane Brown, was born December 20, 1917, in Superior. She was married December 31, 1939, in Greenwood to Clarence Sonderegger. He died in 1956.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Shirley) Budzynski of Wausau, Mrs. Judith Stark of West Allis, and Miss Beatrice Sonderegger of Wausau; five sons, Wesley of Winchester, N. H., Thomas of East Troy, Duane of Marshfield, Gordon of Homestead AFB, Fla., and Paul of Little Chute; and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Barbara Kelmm, Gurnee, Ill., Mrs. Donald (Stella) Waddell, Avondale, Ariz., Mrs. Robert (Helen) Sischo, Neillsville, Mrs. Roland (Irene) Jakobi, Granton, and Mrs. Franklin (Virginia) Jacoby of
Wisconsin Rapids; and five brothers, Wesley Brown of Waukegan, Ill., Samuel of Rhinelander, Ralph of Kittery, Me., Kenneth of Chicago, Ill., and Lawrence of Waukegan, Ill.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. from Zion United Church of Christ. The Rev. David Logue officiated. Burial was made in Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Roland Jakobi, Robert Sischo, Franklin Jacoby, Roger Jakobi, Donald Waddell and James Sonderegger. Gary Schultz sang, “How Great Thou Art” and “In the Garden” accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Allen Dallman.
