Miss Elveira Vollrath, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Vollrath, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), repeated vows with William M. Rogers, Ft. Knox, Ky., son of Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Rogers, Waupaca, during a nuptial service held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14th, 1952, in the Emmanuel Evangelical and Reformed Church, Greenwood. The Rev. Charles Koch officiated at the ceremony.

During the service "The Lord's Prayer" and "Oh Promise Me" were sung by Larry Vollrath, cousin of the bride. He was accompanied by Ann Warner at the organ.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white satin gown with imported Chantilly lace trim and long sleeves. Her fingertip veil was secured to a lace cap with seeded pearl crown. She carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses and white gladioli.

Bridal attendants, Miss Doris Wiegand, Plymouth, serving as maid of honor, and Miss Berynelle Brickner, Plymouth, Miss Margaret Laabs, Oshkosh, cousin of the bride, were attired in white lace ballerina length gowns with long sleeves and detachable jackets. They all had white mitts to match. They carried fan bouquets of white and blue carnations with ice blue streamers.

Their earrings were gifts of the bride.

Raymond Rogers, Ogdensburg, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were William and Kenneth Vollrath, Greenwood, brothers of the bride.

Carol Alperstett, Greenwood, wering a dress identically styled to the bride's, served as flower girl. Harold Laabs, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer. He carried the rings on a white satin pillow with Chantilly lace. He was dressed in white with black bow tie.

Leo Everts, Milwaukee, and Dale Vollrath, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer. He carried the rings on a white satin pillow with Chantilly lace. He was dressed in white with black bow tie.

The bride's mother viewed her daughter's wedding attired in a navy and white dress with matching accessories. The groom's mother was attired in gray and navy dress with matching accessories. Corsages of yellow roses added a note of color to their ensembles.

A reception was held immediatly after the ceremony at the church parlors. The presents were opened at the home of her parents before going to the wedding dance which was held at Merry Ol' Gardens.

The bride is a graduate of Greenwood High School. The groom is a graduate of Waupaca High School, attended Wis. State College, Plattville, and is now in service at Fort Knox, Ky. In the U.S. Army.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in souther Wisconsin. The bride will meet her groom later in Kentucky.

Guests attended the wedding from Milwaukee, Waupaca, Pine River, Ogdensburg, Steuben, Plymouth, Oshkosh, Sheboygan, Medford, Marshfield, Mosinee, Neillsville and Greenwood.
