------ Weideman, Judy Lynn (26 JUN 1965)

Given in marriage by her father, Ed Weideman, of Abbotsford, Miss Judy Lynn Weideman and Roy Arthur Huss of Eau Claire were united in marriage Saturday, June 26, at 1:30 o’clock.  During the double ring ceremony performed in Christ Lutheran church by the Rev. F. H. Sprengler, Miss Bonnie Melvin was the organist and accompanist for Miss Julene Radlinger of Dorchester, who sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and “O Perfect Love”.

For her wedding the bride shoes a gown of silk taffeta and Chantilly lace with a detachable Watteau train.  It was designed with a fitted bodice with a Sabrina neckline, long sleeves and full skirt.  A crown of pearls and crystals held the four tier all silk English illusion veil.  She carried a cascade arrangement of red roses and white carnations with rose buds tied to ribbon streamers.

Three cousins of the bride were in the bridal retinue.  Miss Joyce Barker of Mayville was maid of honor, and Miss Diane Woik of Owen and Miss Rochelle Mueller of Loyal were bridesmaids.  They were attired alike in floor length dresses of powder blue nylon sheer over taffeta.  White and crystal beads outlined the boat neckline and bow trim detailed the three-quarter length sleeves and fronts of the fitted bodices.  The skirts were bell-shaped with unpressed pleats at the waistline and fly-away Watteau panels extended from the back of the neckline.  They carried cascades of blue and white carnations with blue ribbon trim.

For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Weideman wore an aqua dress with beige accessories and had a corsage of pink roses.  Mrs. August Weideman of Abbotsford, grand mother of the bride, wore a blue dress accented by a corsage of yellow and white carnations.

Jerry Weideman, a cousin of the bride, was the best man, Alfred Weideman a brother of the bride, and Kenneth Welheimi , a friend of the groom, were the groomsmen.  They are all of Abbotsford.

Donald Weideman, another brother of the bride, and Richard Voelker, a friend of the groom, both of Abbotsford, served as ushers and escorted the guests to the pews marked with roses and white ribbons.

Roger Weideman, little brother of the bride, and DuWayne Woik, a cousin, unrolled the white aisle cover before the entry of the bridal party.

Following the ceremony, a reception and wedding dance were help at the city hall at Abbotsford.  A 5 o’clock dinner was served in the church dining room.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Huss are making their home at 239 Chippewa St., Eau Claire, where the groom is attending the summer session at Wisconsin state university.

Guests attending the wedding came from Mayville, Athens, Withee, Curtiss, Oshkosh, Dorchester, Medford, New London, Clintonville, Stratford Loyal, Owen Edgar, River Falls, Colby, Eau Clair, Altoona, Cadott, Unity, Milan, Wausau and Marshfield, and Mankato, Minn.
