Ralph Thomas has received a new forge and other blacksmith tools and will build a shop on his farm. Mr. Thomas is a blacksmith, also a wagon maker, and will do repair work, etc. for those who desire his services.

Joseph Kasnik and family have arrived and are now comfortably located in their new home west of Samuel's farm.

Ignac Cesnik has had several prospective land buyers the past week.

George Hintz received a carload of hay and rye straw on Friday.

A.L. Clair transacted business at the town hall Tuesday afternoon. He was accompanied as far as Greenwood by L.W. Kuhlman.

Geo. Hintz and R.R. Thomas helped A.C. Altenbern to do some logging on Friday and Saturday.

Wm. Dammeier purchased a horse from a party south of Greenwood.

G. Samberg purchased two dressed hogs of Henry Daughenbaugh one day last week.

Frank Abel, Henry Gemmeke Sr. and Frank Hatton were Sunday afternoon visitors in Willard.

Mrs. Anna Long, who has been making an extended visit with her parents at Mt. Morris, Ill., came home Saturday morning. She was accompanied by little Margaret Virginia, her little two months old daughter, who will make Willard her future home. The father (Harvey) wears a smile which covers his face and actually tries to make people believe the baby looks like him instead of her mother.

D.S. Holsinger was slightly (?) indisposed on Sunday morning. He is better at this writing.
