Meinholdt, Alma (22 AUG 1936)

At a simple wedding Saturday afternoon, August 22, Miss Alma Meinholdt became of Wayne (Hans) Kolpanen of West Allis, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kolpanen of Owen, Wis.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Meinholdt of the Town of Eaton.

The ceremony was performed in the parsonage of the St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, in Wauwatosa, by Rev. Theo Frohne. The only witnesses to the ceremony were the attendants, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knaus, Roy Kolpanen and Mrs. E.R. Godfrey.

The bride was lovely in a princess gown of white satin and lace, neckline and standup collar of lace were outlined in seed pearls. A fingertip veil fell from a Juliet cap also of lace. She carried a bouquet of white roses, stocks and fenerful.

Mrs. Harold Knaus, her matron of honor, wore a princess gown of cerise silk moiré with waltz blue. She wore a shoulder corsage of tea roses.

The groom and best man wore dark blue suits.

The wedding reception for their many friends was held at Kozmutz Hall. The couple will make their home at 4933 W. Wells Street, Milwaukee.

The Gleaner joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy married life.
