G.A.R. and W.R.C. Officers Installed (3 Jan 1916)
The G.A.R. and W.R.C. held a joint installation Jan. 3rd, followed by a very interesting program consisting of short speeches by Rev. Pinney and Judge O’Neill, a solo by Mrs. Berge, several selections by the young people, Miss Imig at the organ, and last, but not least, a lunch was served. The W.R.C. officers installed were: Pres., Alberta Wells; Sen. Vice-Pres., Amelia Kapke; Jr. Vice-Pres., Cora Gurgle; Sec., Lou Ruddock; Treas., Eva Neverman; Chap., Savilla Harriman; Con., Emma Shummel; Guard, Rosella King; H. Con., Grace Kaiser; H.G., Ida Carpenter; Patriotic Instructor, Etta Redmond; Press. Cor. Evaline P. Beardsley; Color Bearers: May Cook, Elizabeth Campbell, Matilda Ketel, Alice Kearney.
The G.A.R. officers are George L. Beardsley, Commander; John Holverson, S.V.; Mike Moldenhauer, J.V.; M. Walk, Chap.; Henry Imig, Qr.; James Campbell, Officer of Day; Fred Reitz, Agt.
