FUNERAL SERVICES FOR ED BUBLITZ HELD SATURDAY

Funeral services for Edward W. Bublitz, 69, were held Saturday afternoon, October 31, at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home, Owen. Officiating at the final rites was Rev. Roger Tellock, Curtiss. Burial was made in Pine Hill Cemetery at Curtiss.

Serving as pallbearers were Archie Ackerman, Richard Carlson, Tony Pietrzan, Lee Jensen, Jack Johnson and Albert Klessig.

Bunee Kraut sang to vocal selections with Mrs. Toivo Kallio being her accompanist at the Organ.

Mr. Bublitz passed away at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, at the V. A. Hospital in Madison where he had been a patient for the past four months.

Born March 11, 1895, in Milwaukee he moved to the Town of Hoard four years later with his parents and had resided there ever since. He was a veteran of World War I and worked as a carpenter and furniture repairman. He had never married.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Amalia Bublitz, Milwaukee; a sister, Miss Adela Bublitz, Milwaukee, and two brothers, Albert Bublitz, Milwaukee, and Otto Bublitz, Owen.

He was preceded in death by his father.
