Degenhardt, Norbert M. (21 DEC 1928 - 7 JUL 2013)

Norbert M. Degenhardt, 84, of Marshfield passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Golden Living Center Three Oaks in Marshfield. His care was provided by Asera Care Hospice.

A private family memorial and committal service will be held. Burial will be held in Pine Hill Cemetery in Curtiss at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2013. Arrangements are entrusted to Life Tributes Funeral Home and Cremation Service-Spencer.

Norbert was born December 21, 1928, in Loyal to the late Leo and Mary (Binder) Degenhardt. He attended school in Loyal. On October 1, 1949, he married the former Joyce Matson. Sadly Joyce passed away in July of 1987.

Norbert was a driver for Tombstone Pizza for many years. He also was a business owner. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from June 1946 until his honorable discharge in July 1947.

Norbert loved fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed crafts and going to craft shows, spending time outdoors and with his close companions, his cats.

He is lovingly survived by his children, Norbert (Mary) Degenhardt, Jr. of Rochester, Minn.; Terry (Candy) Degenhardt of Reeseville; Darrell (Nancy) Degenhardt of Tomahawk and Dawn Tripp of Marshfield. His siblings, Madeline Bell of Arpin; Paul Degenhardt of Marshfield; Lawrence (Vivian) Degenhardt of Fort Myers, Fla.; Rosie (Bob) Gregorich of Marshfield; Dorothy (Don) Rottscheit of Marshfield and Barb (John) Lynskey of Minneapolis, Minn. He is further survived by his six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Norbert was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce; a special friend, Cheryl; a son-in-law, Bob Tripp and a sister, Alberta (Walter) Kohl.
