Pachal, Sandra Fay (03 JUL 1965)

Harold Lawrence Drescher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Drescher, route 1, Neillsville claimed as his bride July 3, Miss Sandra Fay Pachal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pachal, route 1, Loyal.

The 2 p.m. marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. Alden M. Moldenhauer at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church at Loyal, the altar was adorned with arrangements of pink peonies for the occasion.  Rev. Moldenhauer sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and Faith Moldenhauer accompanied him on the organ.

The bride given in marriage by her father was wearing a full length bridal gown featuring a semi-scoop neckline on the bodice of lace and a tiered-back skirt, the tiers being caught up with a rose.

Her fingertip veil billowed from a crown type headpiece and her bouquet of roses was centered with a white orchid on a fan shaped background, with streamers of red rosebuds.

Miss Carol Pachal, Marshfield, the maid of honor and Miss Carol Hinkleman, Loyal, the bridesmaid, were seen in lilac-purple and champagne colored ensembles, respectively.

Their street length dresses were made of chiffon.  Each had a lilac crown headpiece with short veil and their flowers were arrangements of pink and white carnations.

Milton Pachal, Loyal was the best man.  The groomsman was Royal Neumann of Spencer and ushering duties were done by Lee Drescher and Lawrence Kyle, both of Neillsville.

A wedding reception was held at the bride’s parents’ home, the dinner was served in the church basement and in the evening there was a wedding dance in the American Legion Hall at Neillsville.

The new Mrs. Drescher is a 1965 graduate of Loyal High School and her husband graduated from Neillsville High School in 1963.  He is employed by the Wendell Elmhorst Feeder Pig Farm, route 1, Neillsville, both farming and hauling feeder pigs.
