Kruger, Jack D. (23 NOV 1928 - 26 JUN 2013)

   Betty (Marden) & Jack Kruger

Jack D. Kruger, age 84, of Marshfield passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Parkway) in Marshfield. Rev. Mike Carlson will officiate. A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home on Monday.

Jack was born November 23, 1928 to Gilbert and Helen (Kromer) Kruger in Loyal, WI. He attended the Loyal School System. Jack worked as a Farmer and he also drove for a local Mobile and Manufactured House Company. On September 30, 1946 Jack was united in marriage to Betty Marden of Greenwood.

Mr. Kruger was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Marshfield. He enjoyed driving truck for many years and more recently escort piloting.

Jack is lovingly survived by wife, Betty of Marshfield; children, Priscilla (Corron) Baker of Alexandria, MN; Kathleen (John) Esgar of Ely, MN; and Steve Kruger of Marshfield. He is further survived by 7 grandchildren, Craig Baker, Chris Baker, Scott Baker, Janelle Fritz, Jennifer Esgar, Lucas Kruger, and Justin Kruger; 7 great grandchildren, as well as a brother Richard Kruger. He will truly be missed.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Helen, a sister, Jean Loos, as well as 2 grandchildren, Jeff Esgar, and Brandi Mikkelson.
