Washburn Center (25 Nov 1915)

John Kauth and wife entertained the whole countryside Saturday evening in honor of Miss Ella Nickles who will soon be the happy bride of Daniel Parmer. It is useless to say anything about the good time we all had, for everyone knows they are entertained well in the Kauth home. Miss Ella will long remember her shower. The presents were many and useful.

P.M. Cranston purchased the Budge farm near Granton. He will be a welcome resident of Clark County.

The hunters have taken advantage of the fine weather so far.

Herman Hunter and wife are visiting his parents.

Mrs. Cramer is slowly gaining.

Ross Galbreath took a load of hogs to Granton Saturday and bought another cow.
