Funeral services for William Willner, 70, Spencer, were held Monday, Feb. 15, at Christ the King Catholic church at Spencer.

Mr. Willner was born in 1894 at Evanston, Ill.  His family soon moved to Fenwood, where he received his education.  He was married to the former Apalonia Bach at Edgar in 1915.  The couple lived in Fenwood until 1940 when they moved to Spencer.

Surviving are Mrs. Willner; five sons, Lester of Colby, Bernard of Carpenterville, Ill., Willard of Shawano, Reinhold of Janesville, and Emery of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Carolyn) Koehler of Edgar and Mrs. James (Jeannette) Werner of Wisconsin Rapids; a sister, Mrs. Ewald Schmidt, of Edgar, and 25 grand children.
