Surnames: Cleveland, Barlow, Slowiak, Zakrzewicz, Foster

Mrs. Shirley Cleveland of Withee, Wisconsin and Edward J. Barlow of Melrose, Wisconsin have been named crew leaders for the 1964 Census of Agriculture, Guy A. Lutz, director of the regional office of the US Bureau of the Census at St. Paul, announced today. The new crew leaders are two of about 1825 persons throughout the US to receive this appointment.

The new crew leaders will supervise a team of senses enumerators will visit all farms and ranches in Clark County to collect official census questionnaires from farm operators. Enumeration of all farms in the county will take place in November and early December.

Lawrence E. Slowiak, airman apprentice, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Slowiak, of 115 East Lawrence St., Thorp, WI, has reported for duty at the Naval Air Development Ctr., Johnsville, Pennsylvania.

The center is one of the Navy's primary research and development activities and training base for America's astronauts.

Because of a recent publication in area papers, Dr. John Foster, desires to announce that his office will be open in Thorp full-time as usual with his associate, Dr. Michael H. Melcher doing the professional services for area patrons.
