Jay Meddaugh, age 48, of Granton, WI entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 6,
2013.
Jay Logan Meddaugh was born on January 19, 1965 in Neillsville, WI the son of
Gordon Neil and Lorraine (Bender) Meddaugh. Jay farmed on the Meddaugh Ranch and
worked at several area farms including some cranberry bogs while he was going to
school in Granton. He graduated from Granton High School on May 20, 1983, and
then joined the National Guard, training in Fort Leonardwood, MO. He served for
10 years and 6 months.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Neillsville and in his spare time
enjoyed fishing. Jay was fun loving and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He also loved working on and driving his model CA Allis Chalmers Tractors,
riding motorcycle with his son Michael, being outdoors, playing cards and
airplanes.
He is survived by his fiancée of 20 years, --additional information

He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Neil and his grandparents.
Funeral Services for Jay will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2013 at
the Zion American Evangelical Lutheran Church in Granton. Pastor Dale Wilford
will officiate. Music will be provided by Marjorie Dahl, organist. Interment
will be in the Windfall Cemetery in Granton, WI. Visitation will be from 5:00 to
9:00 p.m., Sunday at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville and from 10:00 to
11:00 a.m., Monday at the Church.
Casket Bearers are: Matthew Meddaugh, Adam Meddaugh, Jeffrey Hines, Todd
Meddaugh, Loren Meddaugh and John Kurylak.
