Haeuser, George Henry (22 November 1886 - 25 October 1969)

George Henry Haeuser, 82, died suddenly of an apparent heart attack in the Greenwood postoffice last Saturday morning.

Mr. Haeuser, son of Henry and Marie (Schmidt) Haeuser, was born November 22, 1886, in Dorchester. He was married November 21, 1912, in Stetsonville to Alma Erickson. They lived at Auburndale, where he operated a cheese factory until 1914. They then moved to Arpin, where he operated another cheese factory until 1919, when they moved to Greenwood. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Mrs. Haeuser died August 11, 1959.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Myrle (Joyce) Hales of Manawa, Mrs. Wilbur (Audrey) Kehrberg of Loyal and Mrs. Bernard (Beverly) Denk of Greenwood; a son, Garth, of Torrance, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Knapp, Mrs. Martha Sorenson and Mrs. Harriett Brantley, all of Burtli9ngton; and three brothers, Ernest of Fergus Falls, Minn., and Charles and Louis of Canada.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Grace United Methodist Church in Greenwood, with the Rev. Lee Holmes of Marshfield officiating. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Funeral services for George Henry Haeuser were held last week Tuesday afternoon from the Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Lee Holmes officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers wee: Merril Hare, Laverne Brown, Louis Kebl, Wilbur Stewart, Arleigh Syth and Lawrence Cox. Gary Schultz sang, “In the Garden” and “The Old Rugged Cross” accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Don
Warner.

Those who attended the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. Garth Haeuser of Torrance, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Myrle Hales of Manawa; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Weihmueller and family of Fort Payne, Ala.; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wallschallager of Hartland; Ernest Haeuser of Fergus Falls, Minn.; Mrs. Martha Sorenson and Mrs. Margaret Knapp of Burlington; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jensen of Janesville; and other from Wausau, Medford, Dorchester, Arpin, Wisconsin Rapids and Marshfield.
