Washburn (23 October 1969)

Mrs. Ralph Short will entertain the Cannonville Ladies Aid October 30 with dinner served at noon.

Mrs. John Reinart and daughter, Judy, visited Mrs. Reinart’s sister, Mrs. Don Syth, in Eau Claire last week. Mrs. Syth underwent surgery several weeks ago and is getting along nicely.

Mr and Mrs. Kenneth Short and daughter, Kim, spent the weekend in Winneconne, with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Steinle. Their sons, Kenny and Keith of Madison also spent the weekend there. They celebrated the seventh birthday of Kim and the birthday of her grandmother, Mrs. Steinle, which was October 26.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Short were dinner guests Sunday at the Ralph Short home.

Mrs. Ruby Hohenstein sold her trailer home last week and it was moved to the trailer park in Neillsville Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. William Tullis of Waukesha called Sunday morning at the Elmer Kapfer and Ralph Scholtz homes. They returned home Sunday.

Mrs. Wilbur Buddinger of Sycamore, Ill., visited her sister, Mrs. Ernest Kissling, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Buddinger spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Buddinger.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Faye and family of Sherwood and his grandparents visited Mrs. Art Odell Saturday evening.

Mrs. Duane Schultz of Neillsville visited at the Elmer Kapfer home Thursday afternoon.

Mr and Mrs. Clarence Rutherford of Black River Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Knutson of Merrillan and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schultz of Hill Point visited Sunday at the Paul Schultz home.
